	THIAGO PAES IN THE SPOTLIGHT After being cast in the critically acclaimed, award-winning feature film The Nowhere Son and the short comedy Physiotherapy, Next Actor Student Thiago Paes will be seen as one of the Lead in our upcoming horror-thriller The Shadow Behind You to be shot this summer. A subsea engineer and marine pipeline designer, this Brazilian native holds a Master of Construction Engineering and Project Management from UT Austin and an MBA and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Brazil.
	SAM HOGER WORKS WITH ROBERT DE NIRO, STALLONE Stanislavski Method Acting Alumnus Sam Hoger worked with the legendary icon and one of the greatest actors ever born, Mr. Robert De Niro on the sets of the boxing movie Grudge Match, also starring Sylvester Stallone, Kim Basinger and LL Cool J. Sam himself is a Mixed Martial Arts coach and this film is right up his alley.
	GIUGI CARMINATI'S 'THE SPARCUS SERIES' NOW AVAILABLE The Science Fiction book The Sparcus Series (Vol. I of V), authored by Next Actor Studio alumnus Giugi Carminati is now available on Amazon.com. 	"THE NOWHERE SON" IN NEW YORK ON JUNE 4, 2013 The Nowhere Son, a feature thriller written and directed by Next Actor San Banarje is an official selection at Hoboken Int'l Film Festival and is scheduled to be screened at the Paramount Theatre, 17 South Street, Middletown, NY on Tuesday, June 4 @ 12 noon. The film is named as one of 'Five Don't Miss Movies at 2013 Worldfest Houston Int'l Film Festival" by eminent movie critic Mr. Joe Leydon (Variety, Moviemaker, San Francisco Chronicle, Boston Globe etc).
	"THIS MUST BE THE PLACE" DVD WITH GRANT GOODMAN Check out Next Actor Studio Alumnus GRANT GOODMAN in *This Must be the Place*, out on DVD now. Grant plays Tommy and sings the title song with Academy Award winner Sean Penn under the direction of Cannes Film Festival's Palm d'or nominated Paolo Sorrentino. The movie also stars Academy Award winner Frances McDormand. If you missed the movie at the theatres, you can now catch it on DVD and support this very young and talented actor.
	CHASE COCHRAN'S DEBUT SHORT IN MARFA FILM FESTIVAL Long time Next Actor Studio alumnus CHASE COCHRAN's debut film *Night Shift Locksmith* is now an official selection at the Marfa Film Festival which will take place at Marfa, Texas from June 26 - 30, 2013. Check this page for screening schedule so if you are in Marfa, you can view this very funny short yourself.

On-Camera Acting Classes for Adults

On-Camera Acting Classes in Houston for Adults are held on Tuesday afternooons, Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons for five weeks. Non-Beginners can benefit from our Tuesday afternoon Intermediate Classes or Stanislavski Method Classes. On-Camera Acting Classes for Kids & Teens/Pre-Teens

Kids' Acting Classes are held every Saturday morning and Wednesday evening. Teens & Pre-Teens' Acting Classes are held on Saturday and Wednesday evenings. Instructors : Jenny Gravenstein. Click for full schedule and curriculum.

Stanislavski Method Acting Session

Classes taught in L.A. and Houston. Learn the System created by Constantin Stanislavski, the father of Method Acting. Through exercises, scenes and monologues, students learn to merge with the character. This is a challenging class and is open to students with prior acting training &/or experience. Intermediate and Advanced students must have prior Stanislavski MPA training. Read more >>

Voice and Accent Modification Classes

Screenwriting Classes

With our students selling their screenplays and winning awards, we teach visual writing so you can learn to write a script from scratch and understand how to build characters and dialogues. Click for full schedule and curriculum.

Editing Classes

5-week basic final cut pro classes on a one-on-one basis. Should be scheduled before registering for it.

Filmmaking Classes

5-class session of filmmaking where you learn camera, shots, script breakdown, production design etc. One-on-one classes must be scheduled ahead of time.
